Our City

We Love Our City

We’re committed to contributing to the common good of our city. We began 25 years ago in the Tivoli Theatre on James Street North. Our mission statement is “Engaging our World with the Extravagant Love of Jesus”, and we believe that the best way to do that is to reach out to the people in our community.

City Outreach

We partner with Lift Church located on the McMaster University Campus to provide people in the community with a hot meal and a safe place. There is no agenda, just a time to share a meal together and hang out as a community once a week. All are welcome!

Hamilton Victory Gardens

We have adopted a garden through Hamilton Victory Gardens, so during the summer months we plant, fertilize, weed and grow the garden to produce food for Local Food Banks.

The Hamilton Victory Gardens is a non-profit team of community volunteers dedicated to alleviating hunger and food insecurity in our communities by transforming empty city lots into places of community, education and growth.

Through an innovative approach which combines urban agriculture and charitable giving, students and  volunteers learn about the sustainable agriculture methods we employ to grow thousands of pounds of fresh produce for local food banks and hot meal programs.

Supporting Hamilton

We pray weekly for our Mayor and City Councilors, supporting them as they make changes to grow and improve Hamilton.

We are committed to organizations throughout Hamilton, such as City Kidz and the community of Strathcona. As a church and individually we volunteer in a variety of areas throughout Hamilton and the Strathcona community.
